Who Are You?
Before our meeting, you will receive a form to complete regarding your business. This form will help you start thinking about your mission statement and goals. During the consultation, we will discuss these details and develop a plan for the future. Your business mission statement communicates your story and purpose, identifies the problems your business addresses, and forms connections with your clients.
Let's Talk Logos.
Think about a cool car you see on the road; what distinguishes that car from the others? The emblem or logo! Each logo is designed to grab our attention and is simply memorable.
Primary Logo: the main brand logo from which all others will receive their foundational designs. Your website header, large print projects, or social media platforms will use the primary logo. It is the one with the most detail and shows what your business is without much thought needed.
Secondary Logo: looks similar to the primary but is condensed to allow for use on smaller projects, such as stationery, business cards, or email signatures.
Icon: a miniature version of your logo that quickly delivers business information. It will carry your primary color(s) and font, but will also convey your brand's message in a small package.

Colorful Conversations
Brands invest considerable effort in selecting colors because they convey messages to our brains on a subconscious level. Shades like blue, green, and gray evoke feelings of calmness and trust, while yellows, oranges, and reds attract our attention and energize us. Some brands even trademark specific colors, highlighting the importance of color choice in branding.
Color Hierarchy: consists of four to six colors, with three primary colors and one to two secondary colors. These color choices will stem from your mission statement, goal audience, and business category and enhance your brand identity, communication, and connection.
Typography
Just like colors, the choice of font conveys a subconscious message to your audience, influencing their experience and perception of your brand. Readability is crucial for effective marketing, and selecting a unique yet readable font can leave a memorable and lasting impression.
Font Hierarchy: outlines which fonts to use in different contexts, such as for headings or body text. This approach is also beneficial when creating a website, social media pages, or printed materials. Understanding the fonts your business uses helps maintain brand consistency and professionalism.

Your brand roadmap, or usage guide, details all the above and more. Expect to see a detailed guide on your mission statement, logo(s), color palette, typography hierarchy, and usage instructions.
This guide is useful for maintaining brand consistency within your business, switching between designers or printers, and keeping track of everything in one place.
